Delete Your Account

Your Strawberry Notes account is only used for AI credits and for publishing to the community gallery. Deleting it does not delete your notes.

How to delete your account

  1. Open Strawberry Notes and tap the Strawberry Notes name at the top of the sidebar to open Settings.
  2. In the Account section, tap Delete Account… (it appears under Sign out while you are signed in).
  3. Read the message, then tap Delete Account.
  4. If you signed in with Apple, confirm with Apple when asked. Closing Apple's sheet cancels the deletion and nothing is deleted.

You will see “Account deleted” when it is done, and the app signs you out.

Deletion is immediate

There is no grace period and no way to undo it. Unused AI credits, including credits you paid for, are forfeited and not refunded.

What is deleted

  • Your account and its Apple or Google sign-in link
  • Your AI credit balance and usage records
  • AI simulation jobs still waiting to be delivered
  • Everything you published to the community gallery: notes, templates, and flashcard decks
  • Reports and blocks you made
  • For Sign in with Apple, the app's access to your Apple ID

What is not deleted

  • Your notes, flashcards, tasks, and AI chats on your devices and in your iCloud. We never had a copy of them. To remove those too, see Delete Your Data.
  • Copies of your published items that other people already added to their notes.
  • A scrambled key of your sign-in, kept with any negative AI balance. If you sign in again with the same Apple or Google account, that balance comes back and the free starter credits are not given again.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, because Apple manages it. To cancel, open the iPad or iPhone Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then choose Strawberry Notes.
