Delete Your Data

Strawberry Notes lets you delete specific data at any time without deleting your account. Here's how.

Notes

  1. Open the note you want to delete
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (…) in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Move to Trash"
  4. To permanently delete: open Trash from the sidebar, select the note, and tap "Delete Permanently"

Notes in the trash can be restored at any time. Permanent deletion is irreversible and also removes all associated files and attachments.

Flashcards & Collections

  1. Open the collection or flashcard you want to delete
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (…) or long-press on the item
  3. Select "Move to Trash" or "Delete"

Deleting a collection also removes its flashcards. Review history and learning progress for deleted flashcards are permanently erased.

AI Chat Threads

  1. Open the AI Chat panel
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (…) on the thread you want to remove
  3. Select "Delete"

All messages in the thread are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.

Files & Attachments

Files attached to notes (images, PDFs, audio) are automatically deleted when their parent note is permanently deleted. You can also remove individual attachments by editing the note and deleting the file from within the editor.

Deleted files are removed from both your device and cloud storage.

Other Data

  • Tags — delete from the tag manager in the sidebar
  • Bookmarks & saved searches — remove individually from their respective lists
  • App settings & preferences — reset from the Settings menu
